While her maids were loop, loop, looping the back of her dress, Nic told me about him. She thought about the 7 years they have worked at a hospital together, seeing each other through the worst of traumas. They had seen the worst & the best times and still found time to laugh. There was so much laughter still yet to be had on that wedding day…the years {together} & the years ahead. Nic said that when she thinks about all of the best things that have happened in her life…her best friend…the dreams she wants… she thinks about Joe.
Joe’s men had the advantage of a fun rec-room at the gorgeous First Presbyterian Church of Flint. While waiting Joe was playing pool and chatting with his groomsmen. We took a walk around the grounds around the castle-like building.
The pipe organ was the silver that caught the light of the stained glass windows. The light played and all of their favorite people were there. The love on their faces lit up the church and the vows they promised were unique while lovely.
The Bride and Groom laughed all the way down the isle and took the time to greet each guest {together}. When the vows were promised and the party was over what remained was love.
May they love overflow for them always as it did today…like all of the days so far combined.
